A series of endings

I have turned in the grades. Time to write some code.

A ghost with a pointer, in front a chalkboard that reads: "And that's the end! Or maybe the beginning..."
Yes, I did use the image last week. It's sort of a series of endings, this month.

I have turned in the grades. I was actually mostly done five days ago, when I powered through the final exams because senior grades are due early, but I was waiting on four more exams administered by Disability Services to make it all final.

So.

I'm free?

It's a weird feeling. Normally, I turn in my grades and then immediately pivot to summer research students. This year, I still have some outstanding (not that meaning, the other one) work to do in terms of cleaning out my office and lab space, but I'm functionally done.

Time to get my nose to the grindstone and write some code, I reckon! Clients waiting. I'm starting to clear the backlog, but sometimes it feels like I'm still at the bottom of a pit, and as fast as I finish one job, another one shows up as being supposed to start on my calendar. Ask me again in two weeks, ok? Really hoping to be caught up.

Small Ghost is out of town for Wednesday - Friday this week, which is often good for productivity, since there's otherwise some guilt around working when I could instead be interacting. On the other hand, my parents show up in just over a week. Them being here won't be all that bad for productivity, but the cleaning that'll need to proceed that visit will be...

Sigh. I just want to be caught up!
